Well maybe Power Washer thread should have been placed somewhere else anyway Exterminate all Daleks then silly thread anyway its not advised to use power washers on cars for obvious reasons anyway What’s wrong with a simple hose with a nossel similar to the one CG showed earlier - works a treat at a fraction of the cost. ps - I do own a Karcher power washer, but it is used for more purposeful jobs 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. never ever done any damage to a car with a power wash, if you use common sense and don't blast away at areas where you could force water into it,

power washers are good for arches suspension etc, and a diy on is unlikely to damage the paint unless there is a loose edge on the paint in the first place, My 3000 psi farm pressure washer doesn't rip off good paint but broken areas are soon enlarged So I have only used it once on the fl2 (after kielder forest). Anyway any areas of paint work that are pressure washed will still need a bucket/sponge to get them properly clean.
