You look to have decent spread there. Not sure I have as much ‘out the sides’ |

I'm not sure if mine is a little high... ideally would have done a "before" with the old bulbs for comparison. |

Well after this evening's journey down dark windy overgrown lanes, I only wish I'd fitted something like these sooner!

Finally took delivery of a set of these bulbs after the courier lost the first set. Fairly simple installation with a bit of adjusting of the collar to get the LED chips pointing in the 10 to 2 positions for optimum light output and correct beam pattern.

Agree with comments on long range. I wonder if this is due to no downwards pointing led in the projector. |

If it's of any interest to anybody I compared my new LED bulbs to an Audi A4 MY66 with factory LED headlights when parked side by side, pointing at a wall two car lengths away. (Disclaimer all results are judged by my eye so may not be factually correct). What I noticed was the white balance (kelvin) was basically identical but more importantly I felt my bulbs were slightly brighter both on the ground and up against the wall. Beam patterns were also very similar with a clear cut off along the top edge. Freelander 2 XS 2013

Need to carry a spare set of bulbs for overseas use, assume there'll be suitable for my 63 plate? |

The poor long range on high means I’ve sent mine back. Wasn’t ok for my use! I’m going to try some osram nightbreaker laser’s. I’ve also contacted horizon LED’s to see what led config they’d recommend. |
