Can anyone please pin point me the exact location for my Land Rover Freelander 2 Airconditioning Low Pressure Port? I look at it for a while but i still cannot find it. Please advise and thank you. |

Take off the flap covering the brake fluid reservoir and you will see it. |

I circle it just to be sure, i thought that AC low pressure valve is in different colour...?

If you buy a “AC top up kit” it”ll come with a fair amount of refrigerant in an aerosol and all the connectors plus a pressure gauge, which you really should use to check the system is at working pressure. Regards

The low pressure port is a smaller diameter than the high pressure so the quick release fitting will only fit the low pressure side. Most DIY cans have the instructions on it or there are a few videos on U tube. Basically you run the engine for a few minutes with the aircon on maximum setting and recirculating position. Switch engine off and connect your gauge to the low port. Start engine and check the reading.

Not sure about Hong Kong but for anyone in the UK there is normally a deal to be had on Itison or Groupon for a cheap aircon regas. |

Here in HK it will cost a arms and legs just bringing to a garage. That's why I like to DIY myself. |
