Hey all, bit late to the party here. I've just posted seperatly, obviously found the search button afterwards, I think this post perfectly describes my problem and I can also see how it is potentially going to save me some cash! My local garage wants £200 + parts to change that actuator.

I can only talk about my own experiences but I have fitted an actuator from a Jaguar XJ to a Freelander 2 and it worked without any coding and the car drove perfectly afterwards. The fault codes cleared themselves after the car had done its start up self test. Parts numbers on the Jaguar part were the exact same as the Land Rover part which is in fact a Mitsubishi part! |

I'm happy enough with the idea of sending mine off to Essex Recon if they are that helpful and that is almost a guaranteed solution to my woes. Failing that I might take a look at an XJ actuator and see how I get on with that.

I seem to have this problem now at ~120 k miles, got the same four fault codes. Just an intermittant fault so far
