A few years back my company had 7 CRT filter/traps stolen in one night from some vehicles parked on some soft ground at one of our depots in Rainham , Essex . They dug holes under the sides of the buses to get at them. Cost the company nearly 30k to replace them and heavily impacted on the local bus services the depot run the following day .

The way the guy is filming, the next car waiting with the driver just looking and talking ( 0:28 ), number plates for all to see, the reaction of the supposed thief at the end, etc.
Without trying to minimize de facto situation, looks like a movie specially made to increase the hate level and collect the likes and views on facebook. Which it seems it did...
