What is wrong with ing car dealers.

Done a deal over the phone for a Black 2007 xs 130k on the clock (its a second car for taking the dogs out and some off roading).

Wednesday I sake him

ME: if there is any faults with it and does it look as good as the photos show I'm coming a long way.
DEALER: car looks better no faults car is 100%

Got up Friday morning 5.30 went to work for a few hours, then drove north of Nottingham (just over 6 hours from us in Pembrokeshire) with a trailer behind my van.
got there though my eyes where playing up, car was dirty, faded and smelt (not a good start) took it for a test drive not done a mile and PING transmission fault.

ME: mate there is a fault on here
DEALER: it never done that before

tried it again with him in the car same thing happened, put diagnoses on it and pulled up fault code for the back axle, went to lock it and hand the keys back to him and it would not lock so mentioned to him.

DEALER: not done that before, so do you want the car
ME: with those faults NO thought you said it was 100%

no answer just looked stupid at me

ME: thanks for wasting my time and £150 in diesel
another stupid look so called him a er and drove off so not happy.

What he was thinking was if I traveled all the time I would just buy it (NOT ME) I'm Welsh

Winds me up this!

Happened to me, advert and seller forgot to mention Airbag and ABS warning lights on dash!

Has put me right off traveling far for motors

being this far down we have no choice but to travel, as soon as it crosses the 7 bridge it goes up by £1000 and when it get down to us its another £500

there are not 7 bridges between Wales and England .........

The bridges are only Severn as a link between us.

the only trouble now is that its free to cross and all the riff raff can enter into gods country

so the Severn ..... are now only 3 ??? ........

I know what you mean but spoke to him a few times and seemed ok, parking sensors were there and I think they were the only thing that worked ok

Why is the rear wiper 'parked' on the near-side ?

the arc scratch in the tailgate glass is a clue.
