I paid a grand more than that one for my 2010 XS but it was spotless, FSH and could see it was well looked after.

Its cheap for a reason

cheap car looks ok apart from n/s wheels

you expect to do more than a mile before faults turn up

and would have not minded if he was honest and did look nothing like the pictures

Even the dealer I bought mine off did not mention the rear wheels juddering until I test drove it! Sadly a lot of dishonest dealers out here, but I knew it was the haldex and I was fed up with looking for one

I knocked him down by £500 as I made out diff was on it way out!

Haldex oil change and now working perfect

I cannot imagine that a car of this age and price would be faultless.

I bought my car over the phone at a distance of some 200 miles, but it was from a main dealer and had a LR warranty. It cost a lot more.

If you could get a 'as new' car for £3500 I would be first in the queue. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 82k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

I'm sorry? You must be blind! The buyer did all he could to not waste time and money, and the trader blatantly mis-described the vehicle, even a second time over the phone. If you can't see the problem, I'm glad I'm not buying a vehicle from you!

I find this website great for seeing the history of the mot.
Gives a feel for how the car has been looked after. Seeing any failure and advisory’s.

If you can afford a SD4 I am sure it will pay you in the long run, and the later the better as the post 2012 have some revisions from the Evoque.

This is on the forum, it looks good, but an awful long way and a private seller. (Late model SD4)

literally just round the corner from me, ive browsed most of the dealers sites in my area and never seen that one mentioned. The ebay pics are taken in the middle of a residential road and clearly blocking a junction. Just screams cowboy to me tbh.
private seller would normally have pics parked at the roadside or in a car park, business seller I would expect to be a bit more professional.
