Scotland 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Indus Silver

I always insert the fob, then press and hold the start button without depressing the clutch pedal. This turns on the ignition without starting. Once it has done its tests, I then depress the clutch pedal then touch the start button again to start it.

Have had no problems doing it that way. ______________________
