Front Strut mounts

Hoping someone can tell me if I've set the top mount angles correctly?
Bottom tab approx 8deg from centre tab towards rear of car both sides??
How critical is this?

I can't tell you the specifics, sorry. Check youtube for the KYB front strut Freelander 2 installation video. It has great info about how everything lines up.
Hope you're having fun with it. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

Ho. Yes KYB video is good. It shows the nearside alignment.
Just trying to make sure the tabs are pointing the same direction both sides (towards rear of car)??

If you screw this up then you get to do it again.

You will likely affect the Caster more than the Camber.

When you take it to get the alignment you will find out.

To answer your question yes both sides should point in the same direction toward the rear or toward the front.

If your sure that toward the rear is correct for the one side then I can assure you that the same is true for the other.

The only exception is if you want to race in circles (think NASCAR) then you setup the car to only turn left.

I am assuming you want to turn left and right.

Thanks

Paul

Thanks for confirming they should both be set pointing the same direction on the car.
Pretty sure they must point backwards as Haynes/Landrover show offside like that. KYB video shows the guy setting the nearside also pointing backwards....
Hopefully I've got it right as it's a bit of a pain to do!
Very Happy
