I recently had a "Low Coolant Level" warning appeared but the reservoir was at Max level. I ignored this warning as it dissapeared, but after travelling about 15 miles on motorway I then had "Reduced Engine Power" warning which would only allow me to travel about 50mph.
I completed my journey and next day there was no coolant warning and the car run as normal.
Could there be a link with the coolant warning and the reduced engine power as a safety feature?
