United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Firenze Red
Loss of connection on integrated telephone system

I have driven months and miles but, for short periods in between, my Motorola v3 will not connect to the car, or, as has been proved by the process of elimination, the car will not connect to the phone. Despite dash text indicating it is searching for the phone, the display indicates a phone cannot be found.

In the early days of the fault, starting off on the next journey the phone would connect. Weeks would then pass without probs. Then, no connection again, and then it took a full day to connect. Then two days consecutive to reconnect. The last time took it the best part of three days of heavy mileage before, lo and behold, it would connect again. This was all without any intervention of selecting options to search for the phone. It would just…. do it!

Yes. I'll whinge to the dealer but has anyone else found this same fault and arrived at a solution? Firenze Red XS TD4 01/2013 . Averaging 1800 miles per month. My 5th Freelander in 11 years. Devotee?

unless the firmware on the phone is the same as the LR approved Bluetooth list, then your dealer will go in to the automated robot saying its not compatable, nothing that they can do etc etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
