Locking mechanism did not work.

I have washed the car in a washing machine, and when I later was to lock the car by pressing the "lock"-button, the only thing that happened was that the horn sounded.
Tried several times, with the same scenario.
Tried every possible trick, and finally when I pressed on "approach lighting"-button twice, worked "lock"-button as it should.

This photo is for you, Shar. Arrow ...PS. I'm not in this picture LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . Sorry, but I have changed to Defender 90 ", and I love my" tractor ".

the horn sounding is a indicator to say a door, boot or bonnet is open

Maybe the washing machine spin cycle caused a sensor to short out or a something was ajar Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

There is no problem, but ask Paul for guidance ...
