welcome and nice spec you have there. guessing you bought from LR Approved in which case the warranty is excellent, LR Assist are even better (just request a LR technician if you need them rather than an AA technician)

At 40K miles you might want to consider a Haldex filter and oil change as a preventative measure against JLR's assertion that the Haldex doesnt require a service (unlike for other car's where the Haldex is a scheduled service item) and a very expensive replacement. agreed, warranty will cover Haldex, rear diff and anything else likely to go wrong for the 2 years so no need for anything other than routine servicing and tyres maybe. As soon as it out of warranty then get the preventative stuff done like Haldex service and diff fluid changes. |
