Our 2 ton vehicles are only connected to the road with just over an A4 page of contract of rubber and road.

I wouldn't trust any unbranded rubber to keep me safe.

There used to be Avon tyres in Wales long ago don't know if they still about. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Branded tyres made abroad are ok for me. They will still have almost the same quality control, raw materials, technology and design gone into them, not to mention warranty etc. They wont want their brand to lose reputation because they moved production to Eastern Europe etc.

I read a tyre test recently and a Russian tyre performed quite well, but they needed 10 times the amount of wheel weights to balance it. Quality control just wasn't the same as the major brands.

Crap tyres suit our crap roads! Plenty of dead animals on our outback roads, probably run over by above mentioned tyres. We could export the meat to above mentioned country! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

These caught my eye when browsing for a replacement tyre now that my beloved Cooper Zeon LTZ's have been discontinued. Crying or Very sad
Radar Renegade at about half the price of the LTZ at just £92 per corner. Very Happy
They look a cross between the LTZ and the Grabber AT

As my motoring has changed from lots of motorway stuff to just mainly low speed local 'b' roads [and my usual off-road stuff], I'm certainly going to check out the reviews when the time comes.
FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

I bought some Nokians recently and was surprised to discover that they are made in Russia and not Finland. Jules

Most cheap non-EU honey is from China - it is far from pure raw honey (the word "pure" is not included on the label); its blended (with what ?) and any nutritional value outside that of sugar has probably been destroyed.
Cheap EU honey is again usually blended and from Eastern Europe.

Best to buy Pure raw honey from the UK. It is was it says on the jar.

I get my honey straight from the manufacturers. Team Photo...

ive just completed 3000 miles on a set of sailun terramax cvr,£88.40 each.after watching a video on the tyres being tested by motoring experts,up against premium tyres,i thought they are worth a try,by the way im in the motoring trade and have seen and driven on bad Chinese tyres that wear rapid and don't grip at all!!but after a few long hard drives in extremely wet conditions i cant fault them. you can see a u tube video on the being tested and make your own minds up!.up date 6000 miles done on these ,been off road, been in extreme wet, wearing great, cant fault them so far.
now done 11000,6 mm left national tyres have upgraded these from budget.

Avon tyres still exist - bought by Copper Tires of Ohio.

Still make a range of motorcycle, car and SUV tyres.

I bought a set of ZZ5 tyres last year for our Fiesta ST. Excellent tyre, with very good reviews at a great price.

Nice to have "Made in England" on the sidewall.

Sadly, the American owners of Avon (Cooper Tires [sic]) pulled car tyre production from the U.K. recently, leaving only their motorcycle tyres being made here.
