Branded tyres made abroad are ok for me. They will still have almost the same quality control, raw materials, technology and design gone into them, not to mention warranty etc. They wont want their brand to lose reputation because they moved production to Eastern Europe etc.

Crap tyres suit our crap roads! Plenty of dead animals on our outback roads, probably run over by above mentioned tyres. We could export the meat to above mentioned country! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

These caught my eye when browsing for a replacement tyre now that my beloved Cooper Zeon LTZ's have been discontinued.

I bought some Nokians recently and was surprised to discover that they are made in Russia and not Finland. Jules |

Most cheap non-EU honey is from China - it is far from pure raw honey (the word "pure" is not included on the label); its blended (with what ?) and any nutritional value outside that of sugar has probably been destroyed. Cheap EU honey is again usually blended and from Eastern Europe. Best to buy Pure raw honey from the UK. It is was it says on the jar. I get my honey straight from the manufacturers. Team Photo... Avon tyres still exist - bought by Copper Tires of Ohio. Still make a range of motorcycle, car and SUV tyres. I bought a set of ZZ5 tyres last year for our Fiesta ST. Excellent tyre, with very good reviews at a great price. Nice to have "Made in England" on the sidewall. FYi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avon_Rubber Jules |

Sadly, the American owners of Avon (Cooper Tires [sic]) pulled car tyre production from the U.K. recently, leaving only their motorcycle tyres being made here. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co....e-46917382 |
