I have recently, last week, had my 2008 Freelander 2 into a main agent for a major service and MOT. A fluid leak was found in the area of the turbo and a new one was fitted. Since then I have had a reoccurring engine management warning light together with a message from my AA Genie. This states " Boost Pressure Regulation Control Range Not Reached ( underboost ) We've spotted a problem in the electrical circuit which monitors the turbo pressure so your fuel consumption may increase and exhaust emissions will be affected "

Thank you not yet, car goes back into main agent on tuesday. It seems I have fault code P0299, Turbo under boost. I have now found a thread from 2012-16 which explains the issue.

Fair chance the fluid leak was not a issue as you get a build up in the system in all cars even when newish. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
