Turbo issues

I have recently, last week, had my 2008 Freelander 2 into a main agent for a major service and MOT. A fluid leak was found in the area of the turbo and a new one was fitted. Since then I have had a reoccurring engine management warning light together with a message from my AA Genie. This states " Boost Pressure Regulation Control Range Not Reached ( underboost ) We've spotted a problem in the electrical circuit which monitors the turbo pressure so your fuel consumption may increase and exhaust emissions will be affected "

The main agent at present seems a touch mystified. Would any of the Forums experts be able to shed some light on this problem.

Thank you

Have you checked the hoses for leaks and fittment?

Have they off and check them out.

Thank you not yet, car goes back into main agent on tuesday. It seems I have fault code P0299, Turbo under boost. I have now found a thread from 2012-16 which explains the issue.
Thanks

Fair chance the fluid leak was not a issue as you get a build up in the system in all cars even when newish. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

What was the fluid leak, do you know ?

Lubricating oil from turbo, oil from oil feed or return pipes or leak from the usual oily crud in the turbo hoses ? Jules
