Just joined this forum & have found a load of helpful stuff - grand! - I did note that a mild swear was I mean is really so bad - I guess is out of the question as are & & . Ah well I guess it doesn't hurt to be polite on occasion god dammit!!

don't mention caravan - oh the memories - so much crying, so many tears - wife & kids stunned that a melt down could happen so very quickly

caravan bought, used once, sold

I can report that an x-trail (this was before my landrover epiphany) can pull a laden 2 axle 20ft van at 90mph without issue

god f**k and dammit I said x-trail again - it's like I have tourettes

was it one of the older 2L diesel X- -Trails or the newer 1.6L diesel X- -Trails ?

the new ones, while very spacious, well kitted out and good looking seem to have very plastic interiors and the 1.6 seems a bit weak to pull a big car and then a big tin tent as well

Mine was the T31 x-trail - the last of the real x-trails.....not a inflated quashquiaoenioi (not sure of the spelling) - Actually the new x-trail now has the real 2 ltr engine (178 bhp) which should give it some legs...
