Quick heads up that I opened the boot on my locked car with my fob on Friday only to put the fob down in the boot and (you guessed it) close the boot, only to find I had locked the fob inside !!

An hour later after the wife (not happy) had brought the spare fob I could get in the car and on my way.

Really surprised that there isn't some kind of anti locking mechanism if the keys in the car but guess that came with the newer models. Life's too short, enjoy yourself

Yes there is a anti-locking mechanism on the whole range.
