How to turn off wash/wipe

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to turn off the automatic 3 wipes that occur when I use the screen washers?
with the weather the way it is at the moment and the roads being saturated with salt, everytime I use the washers, by the time it finishes the 3 wipe cycle, the screen has smeared with salt again, in addition on occaisions this year we have had -12 temps and even with +50% washer fluid the nozzles have frozen, so when you use the washer and its frozen, you are left with the wipers doing 3 runs on a dry and smeared screen,

would just like to be able to do the wash and wipe when I need it, so if anyone can help please feel free to chip in. Thumbs Up still smiling........

Don't know if they are heated, if they are they weren't working, thinking about it they haven't frozen since I had the preheater replaced, wonder if they were linked to that? car is an 07 SE, are the nozzles heated on that model?

Question still smiling........

I would hope that this is not a configuration issue. If heated nozzles are fitted then they should work ... this is a safety feature, if its fitted to the vehicle it should work, no question ... Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

Hello,Heated washers are an option on the winter pack. The washer fluid still freezes even when a 50% concentration is added. The dealer said we need a speceial additive added to washer tank to prevent this as the normal by washer fluid is crap. The heated nozzels are temp controld and work automaticly. Rolling Eyes I have a LR2GS with privacy glass and winter pack

thanks CG, have decided to get the owners manual out and have a read, might as well get to know my car, after all I've only had it for a year! it's like ikea furniture you always try to build it then read the instructions when you have bits left over!
