I do wonder about the sense of some of these politically motivated plans and announcements.

Well anything Gove is involved in is a disaster. He put Education back 60 years so perhaps he is trying to do the same for transport Remember there are never problems, just new challenges |

We all be back on horseback before long or will that be classed as producing too much methane. Therefore taxable no doubt If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I’m pretty sure by 2040 a Prius will be capable of 50 miles on electric. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Talking to my brother over the weekend and he has just traded in his 2.5 yr old Honda Civic diesel for a new Honda Civic 1 litre 3 cylinder petrol turbo which apparently performs very well . He normally buys a new one every three years. Apparently his local Honda dealer called him with a story that they want to move people onto petrol models and have great offers (probably means they had a buyer already for his car and wanted to shift it quickly). They did make him a very good deal and the salesman said that the dealership hadn't sold a new diesel for several months. Add to that the news this morning that Nissan is to stop making diesel engines shortly and I wonder where JLR is going? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

By 2040 I’m sure they will get a mobility scooter to do 200 miles on a charge as that’s what myself & the majority of forum members will be whizzing around on |
