Poor lass hope she recovers, the car looks like it's been messed about with extra lights and aftermarket wheels, imagine the force that wheel had when it hit her.Interesting Freelander comment at the bottom.

Looking at the car and stereotyping it may well be a wheel spacer that caused it. Hopefully the girl recovers MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

there was an incident a few years back where a guy in a heavily modified 110 Defender rolled it down a steep embankment into one of the Lincolnshire waterways. Sadly there were deaths and I believe they were young teenagers IIRC.

That report makes no mention of the driver ...... then again its is The Sun. Normally they'd at least mention he/she departed the scene, was detained for questioning or arrested. Hope the poor girl survives and makes a full recovery. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |

Had this happen to me in my old Freelander racer. The vehicle had been on my drive for a while whilst I was sorting out electrical gremlins. Pulled off of the drive and 50 yards on my rear end drops and rear n/s wheel comes sailing past. It was school kicking out time and my road joins a main school route. I am also on a hill so the wheel careered down my road, started bouncing when it hit the small island at the end and ended up around 6 ft in the air before hitting someone's wall . I couldn't believe it ! There were no cars, no kids, nothing at that particular junction - at that time of day it's usually heaving.

I had a 5 ft tall 44inch wide wheel fall off a tractor . luckily on the farm lane. but I had just driven 10 miles on the road. our land is quite narrow so driving with the outer of wheel on the verge 'helped' it fall off. We ended up putting on longer wheel studs with a nut at back of hub to prevent further accidents.
