Mine were given to me as a gift around the time I ordered the car. I wasn’t too sure how they’d look. They matched the factory grill and side vents. Well nearly 4 years later and they’re still on solid. I placed a gloss black wrap down so that no Fuji White would be seen through the mesh. I’ve been to a few LR motor shows and twice folk have thought that I had actually cut my bonnet out to fit them in. I used plenty of degreaser and applied heat to the bonnet and double side tape attached to the vents. Oh and I measured about a dozen times Laughing

Well a weekend of claying and sealing the paint (until end of march when i have a week off work to machine polish) and the FL is looking Cool
Got my new key programmed by the AA yesterday and had 4 Conti cross contacts fitted

Also fitted my new black/ chrome centre caps (ebay) - litle loose so i fitted an elastic band to the back Thumbs Up

Painted calipers with Hammerite smooth silver, sprayed rusting metal parts with Hammerite smooth black then fitted mudflaps before sealing alloys with Jetseal (inc backs) Thumbs Up

Also fitted the 3 piece Piano black dash trims and 4 matching interior door handles (no pics yet)

Still debating on sidesteps (as fitted to my last FL2), stainless tubes (as fitted to my 2nd FL1) or powdercoated gloss black tubes to continue the white/ black theme Confused

Go for the Black Tubes ......... they look so much better. They don't serve much protection. Then when they rust .......... you can Hammerite them Whistle

Whichever you fit, id hammerite all the steel brackets and stuff after fitting.
