HiFi to bluetooth

Got a Sharpe HiFi, 150w, four speakers, three cd, twin cassette and radio with a separate turntable, unfortunately the cd player has packed up.
Want to keep the speakers as they are very good but can't find a system up to £200.00 that will use all four, is there some way of using Bluetooth with a more modern music centre and the existing speakers?
Not very tecky minded so please be nice Very Happy
Thanks. Common sense isn't very common.

The lasers in CD players are notorious for failing after a few years.
You could just buy a little bluetooth box off ebay and plug into the existing AUX input on your current HiFi

Something like this sort of thing.

Thanks for the quick replies guys,
Like the idea of a plug-in Bluetooth still using the old system so I can use a separate cd player.
Worried about using a system that would just use the speakers in case they only normally supply two and can't cope with four.
Would it be possible, worth while to get the lasers replaced? Common sense isn't very common.

I have been through this a few times and the only way forward with the CDs is to find a replacement drive and fit it. Try eBay. Replacing the laser is a non starter. There is a trick that works sometimes which is that if you get the circuit board out for the CD player they sometimes have a preset potentiometer on the board. With this you can crank up the current through the laser and you have nothing to lose by trying it. I believe that most hifi systems are thrown away because of the CD laser issues. I have been through a number of CD and DVD players which only last a few years and some have been from expensive as well as cheap Hi Fi systems (ie they all have the same parts in them anyway). Having said that I do have a Phillips CD player that is about 30 years old and seems to go on and on but perhaps they built them better then.

As for the speakers then assuming that they are the same resistance (4 ohm, 8 ohm etc) you can always just wire two in parallel and see how you get on, it's unlikely to damage the amp as most modern circuitry has overload protection. Unless you have some fancy 5.1 system etc 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

thought It might not be worth fixing, had it for over 20yrs so can't complain, had my moneys worth got played most days, don't think I'll try to take it to bits (i'd have a go at anything I can hit with a big hammer or a set of spanners Rolling with laughter )
Defiantly not 5.1, I know what that means Very Happy Common sense isn't very common.
