Panama 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Barolo Black
cranking but do not start

hi everyone i have a freelander 2 with starting problems, the engine was overheating and i did decided to replace the head gasket with a friend, but after replaced the engine do not starts, i have crankshaft pulse and cam pulse, if i spray diesel in the intake manifold the engine starts. i have fuel pressure but the injectors do not working, what do you suggest?

Hi, given your location it’s not the heater plugs! Smile

I wonder if the codes are simply related to cranking and not firing rather than diagnostic of the underlying problem? I presume you are getting fuel at the injectors? Otherwise is there an air lock in the fuel line or filter? 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

air lock could be a reason let me try, thanks!
