6 CD changer for single unit - straight swap?

I have been told that the single CD unit can be swapped out for the 6 CD changer unit.

It is just a case of removing that part of the centre console and the unit behind which is attached.

Any one know if that's true?

Scotster, I have asked the dealer this very question. Turns out you cannot change the untis over as the units are coded to the vehicle at the factory!
