Id say 75 is a reasonable price. I was quoted 180 so I didn't bother getting the lights I had lined up |

Β£75 sounds like they charge for an hours work, probably standard minimum charge rate. Cheaper than Land Rover would charge and I guess it depends how much you want the xenons I suppose. Me, I'd just accept the cost is what it is and have it done, I'd only be paying for it once and it would be better than having a pair of headlights sitting in the shed |

Too far away to help you but forum member Mikey did mine for Β£30 but it gives you an idea of what garages charge. It does only take a few minutes to do and I know that the equipment to do it is not cheap but yes I think Β£75 is a bit steep! |

There appears to be a gap in the market

Was that a pun? A GAP in the market? I bought one of their code readers and can thoroughly recommend it, so that you can do your own changes! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Keith Gott Land Rover in Alton did mine for a nominal fee. It took 5 minutes. I had researched fully and was able to tell them what settings I needed changed as they had not done it before. I thought it was three settings but maybe just two as posted above. Read up fully on line and check your current car configuration online against your VIN number so that you know which settings to change. |
