I think that you are correct, I do not believe that the sat nav system software has been updated for a number of years. |

Thought there were no 2016/2017 discs as they ended with the Freelander?? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

There are a number of people producing discs that are compatible - if you do a search on the internet you will find them.

Purchased mine from e-bay last year, worked a treat. Was concerned at one point when I loaded disc and it said it was updating, over an hour later it was still the same. Arrived home and turned car off, got in the next morning and the sat nav was working fine and new roads that were previously not showing were there

Thanks for that Stuartc, wasn't aware it could be done through there. after inserting disc will screen give you upload option as with saving to audio hard drive? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Up to date DVD discs for pre-2013MY cars are no longer available from Land Rover, however there are a number of on-line suppliers who are able to supply more up to date versions (the map data seems to always be about a minimum of 12 months out of date).

Just inset disc or USB and option will come up on the screen, it's about 36 minutes for USB and 1.06 hrs for disc. Progress is shown on the home screen whilst download in progress so you know how much there is to go.
