Like I say this demo is the R-Design, all the R-Design trim is quite striking AND (CG) its a metalic black finish! It probably looks stunning when just cleaned, but thats not going to be very often if I own one!!! It rides on 45 section tyres and sports suspension which means it feels VERY different to the FL2. You yourself said it is the beginning of the end, just get a mondeno they are supposed to be very good, I personally hate volvos ..even more than I 'dislike' caravans. The 'S' is in my range by about £0.99 !!!! (thats on my leasing list) Have had a look at one, very, very, nice but fuel economy is very poor compared with our beloved FL2 .... covering 25K miles a year on a 14p mileage allowance I have to think about these things .... The problem is that Ford residuals are CRAP, which means I can get far more car for my money by NOT choosing a Ford. The new Mondeo is a very nice car with lots of good features ... but for me it is relatively expensive. Which is why I'm looking at Volvo or Jag, but as I've commented elsewhere Jag pre sales service is also dreadful ... Other option is Mazda, the new 6 looks stunning and the specs are great BUT they don't do a diesel automatic which is the combination I've been promising myself for years .... I know there ARE plenty of other diesel/auto out there but not they are not on my list. As a corporate 'wage slave' I have no option but to accept the limitations of the car scheme. Though I have to admit the scheme I am in is highly cost effective, which is why I accept the limited choice of cars. Stornoway Grey GS ... Buy British and support the British ecconomy. Now is the time to really consider which direction you send your hard earned cash. Even buy buying a British built Honda is better than buying Swedish 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

So being British, I moved to Norway where I pay my taxes, spend most my cash, take my holidays (mainly), but own a British built instead of a German built (the only other real alternative) vehicle. - dont know where that leaves me 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
