Most batteries have a date sticker on them somewhere. Might have to take it out to read it though. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

On that particular battery which was a Land Rover replacement, if it was possible to lift your eyes up and over the top of the writing, you would be looking at the negative post.
