If you have a DPF possibly. Why ? As extra fuel is added at the DPF burn off stage and some may/can end up in sump. Happy to be corrected on that if I have it wrong.

every time I had mine dealer serviced it was always filled just above the full mark on the dipstick.

Don't worry if the level is above max with, say, max. 1 cm, on a FL2 stopped engine. Worry if it's that way when the engine is running! But that will not be the case for you.
