Can you tell me if indeed, as your profile says, is a MY2007, which fluid did you use and if you've had the Q106 service action performed? Thanks.

The Q106 will reduce the wear of the torque converter clutch. I believe part of the oil being so black was the TCC particles were in it.
Also Q106, if it's an automatic, will address the Haldex software too, in order to reduce the static load on the rear differential attack pinion bearing.
