All these terrible tales are NOT HELPING ME AT ALL!

Anyway, I've had a measure plus talked to one of the tip guys and both the tape measure and he reckon the FL2 will go under with a few cm to clear. I'm shifting a lot of soil and rubble from the garden at the moment so there's a fair few kilos in the back when I go to the tip - this should maybe compress the springs a little more & luckily there's no barrier on exit!
