how about buying a Sony PS3 instead of a dedicated Blueray player, that way you get a wireless & web games console plus a Blueray player in one unit

You could always ask her to pay for the Bose, so it's in keeping with the asthetics of the room.

I got my system on Saturday, but changed my mind on the speaker stand and got a panasonic stand thats was made for the TV, along with a Panasonic Blue-Ray 3.1 Home cinema system (can be upgrade to wireles 5.1 or 7.1)
