Permission to buy a new......

Looks like i have SWMBO's go ahead on the new TV

The system i am looking at is

Panasonic 42" TH42PZ1B (built in HD freesat)

Panasonic DMP-BD35EB Blu-ray Disc Player

Panasonic SC-HTR210 Home Cinema TV Stand System

Does anybody have experience with the 3.1 TV stand speaker systems or projectors type setups Question Comment good or bad Question Question Question

I think for £450'ish the stand will save a few bob as i wouldn't have to spend more £££ on a 5.1 surround sound system and £££ on a table aswell, the above would all link up via the Viera link too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

how about buying a Sony PS3 instead of a dedicated Blueray player, that way you get a wireless & web games console plus a Blueray player in one unit

Samsung make the best LCD screens up to around 40" - 42" 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky
TT Quattro, black. Ers.
AC Cobra rep in build. Ars.

I have thought about the PS3, but since i don't play games much, apart from the odd Wii game, I don't think I could get away with it or it will be worth the extra money.

I am just pondering on just getting the TV and a standard stand along with the Blue-Ray player for the time been now. ( i could borrow a 5.1 surround sound system)

I like to have everything the same brand so the viera link works, and by getting the Home cinema stand which is just 3.1, I will be missing out on the full 5.1 or 7.1 HD surround sound which will always be on my mind that it could be better Wink

I found that said Yamaha also would work on the Viera link so i might look into a Yamaha projection system, but I believe they might have the rear outputs for the speakers too but also i'll pay a premium for the Yamaha stuff too Confused

Mrs NP is also asking why the speakers on some systems I have shown her are massive, compared to my brothers Sony IS-10 system (nice but not panasonic) with has tiny cube speakers. or her brother Bose Lifestyle 48 (i wish) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

You could always ask her to pay for the Bose, so it's in keeping with the asthetics of the room.

Then again, she'll probably agree, and use your credit card to pay. Laughing

I got my system on Saturday, but changed my mind on the speaker stand and got a panasonic stand thats was made for the TV, along with a Panasonic Blue-Ray 3.1 Home cinema system (can be upgrade to wireles 5.1 or 7.1)

I have to say i am totally amazed by it, the picture quality, contrast and depth of the picture are brilliant

Mrs NP went out on Saturday to her works do so i settled in to watch Hancock in B-R

WOW Cool

Any recommendations on what Blue Ray movies to watch Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
