I wonder if Highways will take them - according to the guys at the control room in South Birmingham they prefer the Mitsi's over the Disco 5's as the LR's don't like long periods idling when holding a closure - screws up the DPF, whereas the Mitsi's don't throw their teddies out!

There’s a lot to be said for that 👍 As a larger clone of the Disco Sport (and thinking of iPhones), it’s either Disco Sport Plus, or Disco Sport Max. The Defender can be a Defender and then the real Discovery 5 could be a development of it. Make it a bit longer, a bit posher, give it a proper tailgate and call it “Discovery 5”, with none of this “New Discovery” nonsense Last edited by Tigger on 2nd Aug 2019 9:52 am. Add some vat to that £20000, then add plenty for crew cab, then a healthy dose of £'s for some comforts and possible auto box. Paint of any colour seems to be a cost option too At work

“Last year, Land Rover chief design officer Gerry McGovern said: “We have to stop thinking about function in a durable way. When you're buying into the [Land Rover] brand, you're buying a premium product.””
