Parking sensor switch

Might be a daft question this. I have a GS 2012 model with rear parking sensors. I am soon going to be fitting a tow bar plus when reversing into my garage the beeping can be annoying. Would by any chance fitting the switch back with the off switch work, could it be that simple. Marto GS Sd4 2012

It is ok I have found my answer, the switch only turns off the front sensors. GS Sd4 2012

I think the rear sensors will automatically switch off when towing a trailer (when the car is powering a trailer). Here http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic24324.html someone found a way to switch off the rear sensors.
