Before the D2 was released to the dealers I saw a D2 trailered by a Defender, both front and rear bumpers were missing, the doors and wings were dented and it was covered in mud.

The FL2 doesn't have some of the tricksy electronics of the D2 (which I'm sure they showed off to you), but it's actually better off road as it's less likely to bottom out. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Wading depth indicator and the mode that lets it drive itself over rough ground without input from the pedals (can't remember what it's called). Mind you, my DS doesn't have those either. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

didn't mention the depth indicator but do you mean the hill descent control? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Jaguar call it All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) while LandRover call it All Traction Progress Control (ATPC). Effectively it's an off road cruise control which works between 1 and 22mph. Discovery Sport is also fitted with Low Traction Launch to help you move off in particularly slippery conditions. |

Yes, all of that. Only on the more expensive models though. My SETech doesn't have it. But tbh it's just another gimmick. And in fact Vauxhall had something similar on the Frontera years ago. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
