The shower cover gave the Freelander a max speed limit of 50MPH.

This was my old Td4. Notice the hard top. Saw one at one of the LRO shows, asked the guys about it and in broken English they told me I could only get one from them. I priced it up and with shipping and customs charges was a staggering £1200 ! So imagine how happy I was when one turned up om eBay at a local Land Rover breakers and I was the only bidder winning it for £50 !!

I always thought that the FL1 looked like a proper 4x4, the FL2 just about looks the part but since then the recent LR vehicles look like everything else on the road today. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Guilty as charged. That's my other Td4 at Billing . However after I found a hard top in the correct colour silver, I let that high top go with the blue one when I sold it. |

Yes, that was a real mystery to me. How it always stayed inflated when I drove it to work or when I went out for the day but was only ever flat when I was at home.I thought it might be a slow puncture. Turns out the girl over the road used to deflate it when I was asleep during the day ( work nights). She finally admitted it after around 6 weeks as she got bored doing it. Good job we're really good friends or I'd have killed her ! |
