To fully access the hoses you will have to remove the front plastic bumper. You might be able to get some access by just removing the r/h front wheel arch liner forward panels. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Don't bother, the washers are a waste of time. They are simply there as a technicality for some countries. Then in other countries are marketed as an accessory.

Is there a way to disable them? Find them rather annoying |

If you have headlight washers fitted, then they have to be working. Otherwise, it's an MOT fail in the UK. -------------------------------------------------------------

@oldseadog, luckily we’re not all in the UK & tied in to such strict MOT regs.

if you have halogen headlights with washers, you can just remove the washer nozzles for MOT if they arent working. But if you have Xenon they have to have washers fitted and working regardless. Not sure why as they pretty useless on every car ive ever owned i remember back in the 90'S i had a Vauxhall Carlton which had little headlight wipers fitted along with washers, and they worked really well...... until they failed and then they were a right pig to sort |
