Employ a flunky to carry the key and lock/unlock for you, problem solved. Or you could take the doors off FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

Someone used this keyless entry method on our car. All they took was an E-Tag!

On a technical note.....its possible to retrofit, you need to change both front door handles to RRS equivalent (same as (L359) ones with unlock button, both front door modules and either new harnesses or just extra wiring for door lock micro switches. You will also need to activate in CCF, there is from memory 3 fields which require changing.

If you have just bought it and this is your only issue then you are obviously unprepared for LandRover ownership. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

If we are already on the subject of taking parts from the 2014 and put it in the old models, what about instrument cluster? how hard will it be to swap from the analog look of 2008 to the more up-to-date look? |

The IPC is the backup for the CJB, as well as containing the complete backup copy of the CCF. As well as there being considerable electrical differences between pre/post MY13 there is also security measures in place to prevent IPC's being changed out.
