I bleat on and on about this on here and it seems no one but me has had success with this but try removing fuse for the CD player in the boot,start car engine give it 30 seconds or so then replace the fuse,what can I say it worked for me. |

Thanks for this , tried as you suggested but to no avail. Fuse on mine seems to be in passenger footwell (poverty spec GS model with basic cd/radio). will try and pull out centre console next. |

Hi, quick update on cd player fix. I managed to source an identical cd/radio to my broken one on the bay for £100. After fitting I popped a cd in and it worked a treat.........for about 60 seconds then a warning came up of " invalid vin no. " and it stopped playing Grrrrr.
