I don't think so.. I believe this part of the car is not proprely anti corrosion treated by LR |

Arese I was lucky (or unlucky) enough to work outside in the Arabian Gulf and for many summer months it was not just stinking hot it was also 100% humidity quite near to the sea.

SYFL2 : I don't know about the drain holes, I'll check but where are they ? I've never used any wax or sprayed anything and I don't open it often

SWMBO's 2006 FL1 sunroof started like this and spread terribly. Am now afraid to even open it in case the whole thing falls apart. Odd really as there is no corrosion anywhere else on the car. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

Main LR dealer here will change the the whole sunroof under warranty ...
