Hi. Recently had the tailgate repaired following a BMW going into the back of it. Now the button on the remote (top left) that used to open tailgate along with doors, only opens doors. To open tailgate I have to use the 4th button (bottom right). Not a major problem but rather annoying. Any ideas?

Sounds like your tailgate switch may be faulty.

Mico switch on tailgate needs renewing so take it back to the person who did the insurance work and ask them to do it correctly this time. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I have just replaced my Tailgate realease switch today as it packed in over christmas would open on the remote but not if car was unlocked on the central locking, sometimes wouldnt stay locked and I would get tailgate open displaying on the dash.
