As long as you stick to the correct ratio tyres you can go all the way up to 22" wheels (if you use the correct ratio then the spedo is unaffected) - the norm is 17", 18" and 19" which can be picked up in the for sale section here or on ebay.

All of the above is correct but you will still end up with the same gap under the wheel arch. The overall effect will be better as you will be showing more of the aluminium wheel architecture. Downside is that the larger the wheel size and thus the lower the profile of the tyre the more expensive they become.

If you check near the lock position in the frame of the drivers door you will see the correct wheel/tyre sizes listed 16" to 19" together with tyre pressures.

Aye I park her like that as the spaces are very tight! That was my old bar which I removed. I still have not got around to fitting this beast

When I had my first FL2 it had 19 inch wheels ,i saw a set for sale with tyres ,new from a dealers in exeter for £549 ,so i bought them as a winter set ,since then had them repainted black gloss ,and kept them when i had my new FL2 in 2013 ,and had them fitted with mitchelin all wether tyres ,they are brilliant in the wet this winter ,will put my other wheels with conti tyres on in march/ April depending on the weather |
