Do a search on here using the search function (above) for "transfer pump". The results will include a thread entitled "Fuel tank". In there a convoluted pipe is mentioned that may well be the cause of your problems. Sorry, the tank needs to come out...

Alkways do the simple stuff first - could just be a blocked fuel filter |

I've had a similar problem which went on for months. Two new senders, a new pump, new gauges, 4 little wire connectors & the 'convoluted pipe' which links the tanks. Plus a few software updates as well. The pipe was that last thing they change and that seemed to fix it. It has been working well for the past few months.
