I'm not a huge believer in the accuracy and sophistication* of these surveys, but here's a chance to improve the quality of their 2018 survey:

https://www.whatcar.com/news/reliability-survey/

* For instance, there is no way of accurately reporting a fault if it remains unfixed and the fault reporting never seems to be adjusted to take miles driven into account. So, for instance, a Honda or MG, driven 2,000 miles a year by a retired 80 year old, is usually judged on the same basis as a ubiquitous BMW 3 Series, driven by a high mileage sales rep.

Tigger - Inaccuracies of the survey accepted - but if you look at the large SUV sub section . It has a range of vehicles, all still under warranty (so you'd expect faults to be reported) , which probably do similar miles (ie no Repmobiles included) and yet Landrover is at the bottom.

I would love Landrover to be near the top. They should be, they cost enough. Jules

Fair comment.

What is surprising is how far behind the current RRS and XC90 are. Fortunately, while I have had a handful of problems, nothing has been anything like bad enough to stop me from getting another.

Mines ain’t been disastrous but if they want to mix it with the big premium players then they have to up their game in terms of quality and customer support. If LR want me to spend more then I expect more from them. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Yes, Ive had very few problems with any of the 9 Landrovers we've owned and I'd probably get another Freelander 2. Oh wait a minute ... damn ! Jules

Been wondering what the Marvel character Thanos (forthcoming Infinity War movie) reminded me of. It’s the front end of the Discovery 5. Laughing

Between the two - the front bumpers looks different.
On the silver one; an extra slat under the number plate, no fog lights and more sculpted bumper end vents.
Oh, and the top grill spar comes up to the bonnet leading edge.
Is this a 'trim level' thing?
Or is the silver one just an "auto express" mock up? FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-
