Thanks for that, Daft question, but is the "Climate Control" the same as "Air Con"? and does it work in the same way?

I hope its not icing, its broken if it ices! AC or Air Conditioning is not just cooling of air, it is also drying. You can't cool the air without reducing the energy content and in doing this you reduce the amount of moisture the passing air can hold. Which results in condensate that ultimately runs out of the bottom of the car. One thing the English don't seem to understand is that this reduction in moisture means misted windows will clear quicker, so you should keep AC on when its raining or cool outside. Climate Control is the automatic management of the temperature in the car (there is a sensor behind the steering wheel), Air Con is just one part of the Climate Control system. |
