I'd concur with this - when we looked at LR approved used a few months ago, there were 160 available. Now only 80, across whole of UK. Reflects of course the fact that LR only sell up to 5 years old so the pool is getting shallower, so to speak. We paid top dollar for ours, but it had been lightly used so is in excellent order. We could have looked elsewhere, but I just could not be bothered with the hassle of all those checks you need to do. Dealers are not averse to some dodgy moves, but you do have some comeback and we have had a few niggles fixed that an indy dealer would have told you where to stick it (but paying full whack, this is only fair). Well I say fixed, it's not gone back yet, but they have promised to fix them ! |
