Rear sensor & reset?

Hi all, I'm stuck with my phone so the search option is difficult to decipher....

I have just replaced a rear wheel hub sensor but the warning light is still on. Do I need to clear the fault or should the car reset itself after a test drive? Only dead fish go with the flow

Just in case anyone else finds this on a search..

In my case I have an intermittent fault with two amber warning lights coming on the dash - abs light and the amber brake hub/ disc light. I can clear the fault on my icarsoft but need a couple of attempts and it's usually easier if I open the hood and leave the driver door ooen - no idea why Shocked

So the answer to my own question is Yes, you need to clear the fault with a diagnostic tool.

My fault continues and my next stage is to get the rear hub/abs sensor ring replaced. Rolling Eyes Only dead fish go with the flow
